Regional Economic Strategy
The LDA is the Mayor’s agency for business and jobs and aims to support London’s long-term economic development by intervening in key areas where its leadership, investment and expertise can act as a catalyst for change.
The delivery of the Mayor’s Economic Development Strategy is central to LDA’s Corporate Plan and focuses on promoting:
- Business growth and development across all sectors
- Access to employment and skills enhancement
- London as a world city and a capital city
- Economic inclusion and building on diversity
- Sustainable development, regeneration of the urban fabric and development of the green economy.
